How far apart are the walls in the biggest room of your home? 100 yards or more? Go w/ a quality micro RDS like an H1/T1.

I second the h1/t1. I love mine. I mainly bought it for home defense. Leave it on for 5 years at a time. Change the battery and leave it for another 5 years. Great for close range but also great out to a little distance. A couple weeks ago I took it out to a 300 yard range and was able to hit a 12" steel plate pretty consistently.
