I am looking at building a new carry method for my gear for my AR.

I am starting out with a Blackhawk Recon Chest Harness and would like to see the different set ups everyone has and why they are using it. I like the idea of the modular system so I can set up something that will work for me.

I am looking at carrying 6 AR and 3/4 pistol mag's, first aid kit, hydration pack, and some small items, ie, leatherman, poncho, chemlights, small flashlight, etc.

Isn't that list a bit much for a chest rig?

It might be, I am trying to keep it KISS. I am used to using a Blackhawk Omega vest. So using a chest rig is new to me.
