Default Suggestion?

Suggestions for a good Patrol Rifle setup. Internals are to be stock. Suggestions on rails and rail accessories for a patrol rifle.

I'd say keep it simple (and light!) - optic and maybe a surefire light. Where are you conducting patrols?

BCM M4 carbine , Aimpoint PRO , and you will have one fine weapon that will last you a lifetime and then some

I agree on BCM, you really can't beat it for your application. I would look at a lightweight midlength barrel.

I like Colts, but there other good ones.

For city/close quarter get an Aimpoint.

For county/highway patrol, get an ACOG.

Flashlight, extra mag or two, and you're good to go.
