Default STRIPPER clips and speed feeds...

So today was one of the few days that are good at work. Today was range day for me which is always a good day imho.

After loading about 2k rounds in a few different calibres and shooting my course of fire I got curious. I know most of the time they either throw the empty ammo cans away or someone takes them home. but had no clue about the stripper clips or speed feeds and bandoleers. So i asked our GM1 what they were gonna do with them, his response well if you want them you can have them.

So now i have 4 more ammo cans( 4 prior and 1 hand grenade crate). 90 stripper clips and 6 speed feeds.

What do you guys think about speed feeds and stripper clips for loading ammo? Do they normally ship ammo with the clips or speed feeds? or is that only with surplus ammo, or am one of a few people that have them(not likely i think)?

Thanks for reading guys!

I keep 200 rounds on stripper clips and the rest in the original boxes... why? because loading 1000 rounds onto stripper clips would take forever...

They're so handy since in NY you can not have loaded magazines in your vehicle if a gun is present. I load up the strippers and when i get to the range i can load my magazines in secconds. Keeps the ammo tidy also...

You can buy ammo pre-strippered, i prefer PMC or Remington for my AR, so i just load my own.

I can see you point. it is a lil bit time consuming to put all those rounds on stripper clips. but when the zombies come youll be glad you took the time to do it sooner then later!

Good point about the stripper clips. Yes, they can be time consuming, but you can get them done pretty much without looking at them. Sounds like a good task to do while sitting down watching TV. You could probably load all of them up while watching a 30 minute TV show.
