Stripped lower
Ok, so I just picked up my Daniel defense lower parts kit so I can start in on my first build.
I'm having an issue trying to decide on what lower receiver to get and wanted some input.
I already have a spikes tactical ar-15 that I really like but in my area the lowers are hard to come by at the moment. The LGS had some cmmg, stag, and s&w lowers. Haven't heard much about cmmg and stag. Anybody have experience with those two?

Go with the rollmark u like best.

Personally I vote for S&W.

Also consider lowers that have extras like ambi controls if ur a southpaw or flared magwells or tensioner bolt.....

I haven't heard anything bad at all about stag or cmmg lowers and Ive searched plenty. It really is hard to go wrong with a lower, unless its a poly. Pick one marked multi-cal, multi mod or no caliber marking at all. It avoids grey laws and it could make the rifle worth more should another ban come.

Any of those lowers would be fine. I chose a S&W three years ago and never regretted it. Great lower.

Unless you are looking for something special like the Noveske Gen2 flared magwell, then any lower receiver will be near identical. Pick a rollmark, or a price, or whatever is available, and start building!

If i'm building (which probably sometimes this year), it will depends on my wallet thickness ;). The cheapest i'd get the Spikes. And the most expensive i'd get Noveske new lower with flared magwell. I love their rollmarks and those are the only 3 top brands in my mind.
Just like everyone said, get the rollmark u like and the budget suits you.
