Default Stag Model 1 and Model 2
What is the difference between the Stag Model 1 and Model 2, besides $9? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think the only difference is that the mod 2 is a flat topive got a mod 1 and its great, but I think I'm going to make it a flat top for better optic mounting.

Doesn't the carry handle on the Model 1 just attach on the top rail and is detachable?

The 1 comes w/ carry handle and the 2 has a flip-up rear.

The new model 1 has a detachable carry handle, the older ones do not.

Is it the lack of sights that keep the Model 3 less expensive, or something else?

Yes. If you read the specs on the websight it will tell you all you want to know.

My model 1 is "milspec" and has a 16" bull barrel. Great gun! I hit a coke can at 200yds with it open sights Saturday.

The ONLY problem I've had with mine is that it wouldn't cycle Wolf ammo early on, but now it does. Guess it just needed to be shot more?

Being that it is sporting the bull barrel kinda trashes the "milspec" thing, right.
