Like what has been stated before, steel cased ammo is ok to put through any AR. The problems can be fixed the majority of the time w/ a lighter buffer. Some rifles have tight chambers that can cause problems too.

It may not be as accurate but for $189 per 1K minute of man is cool w/ me.

Ive never had a problem w/ steel in any of my ARs. DD, Spikes, BCM, LWRC, franken builds, etc... Even a 7.62x39 AR.

A lot of high round count hard use shooters use steel cased ammo.
$189? I saw them for as low as $140 around here man xD Gun show this weekend if there's a good deal on them I'm picking some up. Brass case is getting too expensive to shoot in this economy.

is there a brand i can just to buy and clean and oil like a normal gun and have it function? at this point id rather have an sks
my RRA LAR-15 has always worked no matter what ammo i use etc...

(Truth is, I wouldn't own the crap.)
I use almost exclusively wolf and tul ammo - no problems here! have RRA tho, not stag.

me too I haven't really had any problems with the steel case - works fine in my savage axis .223 also.

My BCM runs Wolf ammo like a champ! The local Fleet Farm just started carrying WPA 9mm rounds for 9.00/50 which from my understanding they are military surplus rounds made by Wolf. Ran those through my SR9c without a problem and wouldn't you know it they were pretty damn accurate to boot. I've also run Tula 40 S&W through my Sigma with no problems and those were 12.00/50 at Walmart. Never hurts to try them, worst case scenario is they don't work and you go back to brass

yes - almost all my ammo is now wolf or Tul - if they made .22LR - it would probably be all wolf or Tul - Wolf and Tul are made in the same factory, is my understanding.

I've noticed that they can be cleaner than some of the other rounds i've run, I think it's safe to say the Russian ammo has come a long way from what they used to be. just my .02
