I have an extraction issue with my new Stag 2TL (lefty). If the port cover is closed, it will jam every time...full mag, 1/2 mag and no mag. The spent brass get grabbed by the bolt as is returns forward. Feeds flawlessly every time with the port cover open. Any thoughts?

Clean all of the oil out of the cover detent and open and close it for a few days. When we got some of our new M4s and M16A4s there were some issues with the detents that were stiff and caused some feed issues.
Other than that, you might want to talk to Stag and see what they say about it. If worst comes to worst, you might have to replace the ejection port cover.
Never had issues like this with the M1A didja'?

yep...but I knew that going into it. BTW the EOTech 512 is awesome. Very easy to pick up your target with both eyes open. Shooting cans at 50m, making em jump, hit em with a follow up shot over and over again. Very nice CQB sight.
