spikes lightweight NB BCG

Any experience with this bcg?

My brother in-law is looking to buy but it seems lighter is not better when it comes to a bcg?

He currently has a t2 buffer and stiffer buffer spring in his rifle, am I wrong in thinking it may not cycle properly?

Lw bcgs are for tuned gas systems. When used in conjuction with adjustible gas systems they will allow for faster and smoother cycling.

On a side note, that's one Holy bcg. :D

Looks pretty. I don't know if the weight reduction is a good or bad thing.

i would be afraid of it. Seems to me that it would definitely cause some timing issues. I don't like NiB either.

I am not afraid of NiB, just haven't seen too many companies with established QC using it. POF seems to have good results with it, but they are way too pricey for my blood. If BCM had one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I would like to see some testing results about the holey carrier before I got one though. Not afraid of it, but I just can't see me buying one either.

That's what I was trying to tell him but he's stubborn but I may have changed his mind to a BCM tho ;)

NiB is fine for awhile. It begins to flake at 6000-7000 rnds. That's all.
