Smith & Wesson M&P 15a
 

Please forgive now if this already been asked before. But i searched and couldn't find a answer. I own a Smith & Wesson M&P 15a . Ive had it about a year or so. I am wondering if it is possible to change the flash suppressor for a different one. I head some companies weld them in the factory. But i smith and wesson's web site or manual does not mention if they do. Thank you in advance.

Well it doesn't look like you're in a ban state and the barrel is at least 16" so I would expect the stock flash hider will unscrew easily and you can replace it with most standard AR muzzle devices. It should not be welded, just tightened against a crush washer.
