Default small pin, large pin and mil spec differences

The name kinda explains it all but i want to buy a mil-spec lower receiver and I'm wondering if a small pin or large pin would fit. Any help would be appreciated

You're talking about the pivot and take down pins I guess... They're the smaller diameter on milspec receivers.

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.
