Here is a nice graph of what the ballistic path for my favorite zero the 200m zero looks like.
Note that the point of impact (POI) meets the Point of aim (POA) at 200m, 50m and approx between 1 one and 1.5 inch under the POA at 25m distances.
of course different barrel lenghts and different bullets will modify those numbers a little but not enough to make a significant difference IMO at normal conflict distances, (Unless you're talking extreme deviations from Carbine numbers like a 75 gr match round with a 20 inch barrel would be an example where the ballistics might not match this curve at all but otherwise it's close enough)
Note that in a pinch you can perform a 200m zero on a 25 m range .
