I hear ya on that. I love my Colt 1911.

Just to keep this somewhat on topic, I owned an older Sig Sauer P226 and LOVED it. They're good to go as far as I'm concerned.

I just view firearms, be they Sig, Glock, Springfield or whatever like Pizza. Some people like one type, some like another.
If it goes bang reliably, and you're happy and content with it, then it's the best gun made. Only rule I have? Always buy the best you can afford, but the biggest thing is just to buy, rather than saving forever for that $8,000 Razorcat that you'll never be able to get.

I am of the opinion that companies tend to surround themselves with like minded people. The instructor I had displayed a large "AZZ HOLE" in neon across his forehead. One of those guys that you could pick out in a crowd as being an azz hole.
I am suprised! I was at a shoot that Sig was a guest of. I was shooting my Cetme and one of there guys was watching me. He picked up a spent piece of brass and got all exited. He asked if it was a G3, He was shocked to hear it was a Cetme. I had that sucker smokin after 3 20 round mags in fapid fire. While talking I pulled my P6 out of the holster and handed it to him. He invited me to shoot a mini round at the pistol range. 8 targets from various cover. He actually told me things about the handgun I never knew, he also commented on how nice it was. Real nice guy. I own 2 Sig handguns, love them. P6/225 and a P230. I think their AR's are over priced.

I would have to agree with most of the Glock comments. I don't personaly like the grip, but that is me. And fixable. I do like the reliability, easy to use and accurate abilities of Glocks. I have only fired a few cause I know a few Glock nuts...
