Default Side mounted iron sights

Saw a picture on google with side mounted iron sights on google. I was wondering what would be the best way to go about doing this?
On my AR I've got no front iron sights and a stock rear sight, and a pic rail.

What's a stock rear sight? carry handle?

Do you have a flat top reciever?

Well side mounted sights usually mount to the flat top rail and quad rail but angle off 45 degrees to keep them out of the way of a scope or RDS. If you're using an RDS why not get standard front and back flipups instead and cowitness?

i wish i had 45 degree offset sights when using a gasmask in the army. makes it easier to use the rifle wearing one.

Oh and Quentin, the 45* offset rail attachments that I've seen are usually risers too. I feel like they'd be to high off the base of the gun to be effective

This is starting to catch on with some 3-Gun shooters. They started the trend of setting up rifles in this manner.
