I have a XPS on my home defense carbine. I've never thought about mounting it backwards but maybe that's how they do it in the hood, like they do with the ball caps.

I'm starting to understand why the police in New York hit more innocent bystanders than they do perps.

Maybe they're taking a page from HK's playbook. In a world of compromise, some mount their optics backwards. Let's hope they don't load their bullets like HK.

Just because you have big boy toys doesn't mean you know how to use them.

I guess he slept through his training classes. Is that a soldier below him?

how can you tell from that blurry pic? or was that a sarcastic comment that I didn't read as sarcastic?

Do those optics even work when backwards? I would seriously hope the guy holding the rifle is not THAT dumb. with all the different brands and models of optics out there, how do we know that the one he is using doesn't just LOOK like another brand that's installed backwards?

Could that picture be a clip from one of the TV cop shows? Most likely. Those guys look like actors to me. They are posing for the camera.

I got the picture off another forum, supposedly it was from Herkimer, NY
but I cannot confirm that.

I have yet to see a actual M-4 in use in a TV show or movie. They are
generally carbine length AR's

who cares about the sight being backwards. is NY that hard up for cops that they let the guy from "Flashpoint" actually respond to emergency call?

i found a larger pic on another forum....it's def backwards. i bet it does work if you look through it backwards, but can you imagine his frustration when he went to zero it?

damn yankees......i can only hope that the cops down here know what the hell they're doing so they can actually shoot a suspect if needed and not harm anyone else in the process.
