Default a short trip to midwest industries

as some of you know midwest industries is primarily an AR15 accessories company located in southeast wisconsin in waukesha. well i had the afternoon off from work so i decided to check out their brand spanking new store front.

punched it into my gps and took off in the transam to take a peek and check out with a little luck different magpul carbine stocks. i went with the initial intention of hopefully finding a black magpul moe stock. the store is small but stocked like a AR15 lovers wet dream with all the goodies and to my surprise a whole wall full of bcm recce uppers carbine uppers midlength uppers and even full rifles. they had a nice romanian ak47 and a converted saiga 12. optics out the wazoo from niteforce to leupolds eotechs aimpoints and vortexes of all sorts.

but what really cranked me off is the EXACT rifle whose various parts im currently waiting on *sigh* if i had of gone there saturday instead of putzing around on the xbox i would have my new AR15

nice young man knew his ar stuff and more than willing to chit chat about the offerings and helped me go through the carbine stocks. i finally settled on a magpul ACS-L in black. as i was leaving he offered a nice MI industries hat.

will definately have to go back there shopping in the future. if your near milwaukee definately stop by their shop and take a peek at their ar15 loot!!

Sounds like a nice option.

I've hit up MI a couple times in the past for AK stuff. I have been getting emails from them advertising they stock BCM products. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy. It's nice to see good companies getting recognition. They are really ramping up their inventory.

I don't know what I'd do if I could go into a store and walk out w/ a BCM.

they had quite a big selection of bcm stuff. the sales person said if there was a bcm product i wanted he could have any of their lineup in a week or two... just by going to their store. evidently MI and BCM are very close partner wise. they even had a VERY VERY nice upper that had a MI FF tube but marked BCM. it was tight to the receiver and looked almost like a monolithic very good work indeed

they had a pr-ccw sign on the door welcoming all ccw holders!! good to see on a store for a change!! one other thing they got a m2 50cal machine gun on a pedastal mount with sidewing armor plates on the showroom floor with an eotech on top. ill bring a camera next time.

I'll have to bring their site up when I get home. It's been awhile.

I stopped in there a couple weeks ago looking for a rifle case and just to check it out. I found the case I wanted and also picked up a BCM gunfighter mod 1 grip. I was extremely impressed with the store and the younger guy working. I spent a good amount of time just talking with the guy. Great place to do business. I will for sure be back.

So far I like it. I only got to shoot with it for a few hundred rounds so far. I like the angle of it and also the larger size. I'm curious to see how well it grips once it gets hotter out and my hands start to sweat. Seems like a very well made product.
