JonM, if i had a rifle chambered in 50BMG, i would find a place to shoot it, even if i had to drive 500 miles to get there! for me that would be the ultimate bolt action rifle!

I do have a trust. Wisconsin requires a leo letter trust or not for any fa item. This is a very new thing that was not required by the leftist marxist previous ag of all things.

If i ever get a 50 it will be a barret semi auto.

No doubt a Nighthawk would be great but I'm also happy with my Series 70 and it's a real one, not retro.

So many choices, so many great guns to buy!

Yeah nothing beats the series 70 new or old style got one of each. Would love one of the new goldcups too.

Im leaning heavy to making that obr 7.62 order. Need to research other 7.62 ar types but i cant think of any that really rings out to me

How about a nice M1 Garand? I would also vote for the Colt SAA, one of the most beautiful guns made!

Y'know a nice Hi Power would look good next to the Series 70 and Gold Cup, Jon!

i like the cz75 better than the hi power.

im probably going gold cup, SAA, either cz75 or another cz97BD (my dad took my last one grrrr)

rifle im looking at larue OBR 7.62 havent decided 18 or 20 inch or if there is another 7.62 semi that appeals. fn scar is out too many mixed reports on those and i dont like the side charger thing. the goal on the 7.62 is replicate the versatility and general functional ease of use of the soviet Dragunov SVD so it will get topped with a 7.62 nato calibrated 8x acog

ever consider a nice 1-8x?

http://opticsthoughts.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=117:s ab-and-premier-reticles-1-8x-scopes-shot-show-2012-mini-review&catid=17:shot-show-reports-by-les-jim-fischer&Itemid=8

I love that at lower magnification its a red dot and has a full reticle at higher powers. The best of all worlds. Well maybe except the price tag.
