Glad to hear Ruger is going to do the right thing, Flint Rock. This has gone on way too long. I bet Ruger wants that gun now to figure out exactly what's going on and make sure it's an isolated incident.

Hope you get it fixed, I've had no issues and a few other friends have not seen it in their SR556s either.

what is a quality ar? I want to buy another ar but have no real idea whats good. colt, sig, rra or???

Depends what you mean by 'quality' since this means different things to different people and is also affected by what your price range is.

In my opinion: Colt LE6920 is the reference standard of ARs.
