I remember reading about someone calling in and asking BCM to do some custom work. IIR they just wanted a different handguard and muzzle device. I think bcm modified an in stock item and shipped it the next day for them.

If you want a BCM call them, I'm sure they can make it your way!

So in general, RRA AR15s good or bad? I'm still waiting for my Tactical Operator 2 from my LGS. Should be in my LGS by end of this month (30-90 days as stated in RRA site). If it's not that good, probably i'd just cancel it and get a BCM upper as i have a spare Spike's tricked out lower doing nothing in my drawer. Lol

Ok, if you have a Spikes lower already, I'd definitely go with a BCM upper to go along with your Daniel Defense! RRA is good but hey, we're talking BCM now.

I knew you would probably mentioning DD & BCM Q! Yes i want to have a BCM upper too, been watching their site in the last couple days. I was aiming the 16" with DD OmegaX rail plus the BCM BCG. It costs almost $900. Almost cost the same to the whole RRA. Of course BCM quality can't be beaten.

Yeah a DD rail runs the price up quick! I went with the MOE handguard and my BCM 16" LW midlength URG with BCG and Gunfighter charging handle came in around $640.

It's a very good ar for a first. I've heard a lot of people say you can get a better ar for the money, but you would have to build it. I have two of them, love them! I've never had any problems with either and have around 5000 rounds thru them.

rra for accuracy bcm for a goto war shootin' iron.

my total opinion is comparing rra to bcm is kinda like saying whats better between a corvette and chevy 2500 4wd two different applications.

reason i say this is because the barrels rra uses are tend to be geared to accuracy while bcm barrels tend to be geared to battlefield high round count durability
