Default Riser mount

I'm looking to get a QD riser mount for a PA micro dot. Anyone have a good suggestion? I don't want to pay for a p.o.s. Thanks in advance.

must it be a QD ? If so American Defense T1 mount wont gouge up your upper like a Larue . If not QD Daniel Defense and Seekins makes a real nice riser for it , same mount as the Aimpoint T1

Doesn't necessarily have to be a QD. Do you have a link to the ones you mentioned or should it be pretty easy to find on their site? I want a quality mount. Thanks for the reply ph.

in my humble experience, an Aimpoint Micro lower 1/3 (socom) co-witness mount, when used with a PA micro dot (purchased new about 2 years ago) yeilds a low 1/5 cotwitness. Not optimal. Tested with a DD fixed, and KAC armament moun, both lower 1/3 co-witness heights.

I'd get an absolute cowitness mount, unless the new versions have changed this.

I was hoping for an absolute cowitness. Which of these mounts will provide this? Thanks again both of you for the help. I'm trying to avoid buying more than one mount.

If you like to try both, I highly recommend the KAC Knight's Armament mount. It comes with spacers that you can add/remove to adjust the hight from super lower shotgun type / HK416 height, to absolute cowitness, and finally lower 1/3 cowitness. Its not cheap, but you can play with it and see which one you like.

The list I posted early are just manufacturers, most have multiple mount styles, I believe ADM has a mount that you can change out the spacer for lower 1/3rd absolute heights as well. I know LaRue has the lt660 and 751 (IIRC) one of which is absolute and the other lower 1/3rd.

I have 2 KAC mounts, Love them both. I didn't mind paying a premium for form and function.

I like that a lot. The price is not as bad as I thought it would be either.

crap

I forgot you have a PA. Might want to contact PA and see if a Aimpoint Micro mount will work for it first.
