Default replacing pistol grip on Bushmaster.

I bought a replacement pistol grip for my Bushmaster and went to change it out. Instead of a alan screw or philips there is something that I have no Idea what is. Its not a star or hex head or anything I have seen before and I am not a complete idiot when it comes to tools. Anyone experience this? Couldnt find anything on youtube specific to BM.

Disclaimer
Apparantly I am an idiot. Alan screw, just odd size and looked different until I got a flashlight.

I've only seen Allen screws Philips or straight slotted screws used. I try to switch all of mine to a standard straight slotted screw just to keep all of them the same.

On another note, this is one of the first mods I should have done to my rifle. Cheap, easy, and way more comfortable and looks better. I had been meaning to do it for a while but I started buying other stuff. If any of you have not replaced your factory grip do it. Even a moron can get it done.
