Hey Delta, calm down man. His point was that a red dot alone does not illuminate a target in the dark. You clearly like red dots a lot bro. I don't think he intended to insult you.

read my other post. I said I prefer a red dot with a x3 on a flip mount. In the dark it's red dot with a flash light. If I got to reach out to touch something it's light off x3 in place red dot on low.

Agency humm? Do any of you guys have back up sights co-w with your red dot? I'm sure you do. Do they operate with there back ups deployed and there red dot on? I bet not. Try it one day see how well it works.

A light or FSP night sight? Looks like it might already have one to the left of the red dot and above the vertical grip. It may be a laser though....which would still be better than a red dot mounted in front if a carry handle.

The fixed carry handle kinda handcuffs him.

Any other brain busters?

What did somebody forget to engage their safety and shoot the dogs front teeth out? Or are we blaming that on the Glock shooters?

??neither of us is insulting anyone. I don't "like red dots a lot" I'll use any reliable low light sighting system. I've also used tritium night sights, ghost rings with an orange front sight post, glow on painted sights and gun mounted lasers. Just depends on the application and what's available and easily mounted on the weapon. Also his point was not about a red dot illuminating a target, it was that a red dot causes a type of night blindness. Which I've never experienced unless my sight was set to max power on green. And even then I could still easily identify my target.

Thanks! It's awesome. Freakin love it. I'm already wanting to get more/better upgrades for it. It shoots great, put about 100 rounds of zombie ammo through it and it was flawless.
