Matech in the rear is a good choice. I have two and got them both for about $40 gently used. I run one on my M&P with a Primary Arms optic and still enjoy using them and not turning the red dot on.

Why not go with a carry handle with the iron sight attached? I took mine off to mount a scope but I absolutely loved the iron sights that were on my carry handle. I was more accurate with it than I am my magpul. Plus you can adjust it in the field to up to 800 yds. If I wanted to go back to just iron sights I would put my carry handle back on.

Would this be OK for a replacement front sight?
