Yes, I've bought and built both of these lowers and LOVE AIM SURPLUS, but there's a

CAUTION!

The "Surplus Arms and Ammo" lower and the stainless steel lower parts kit from "RGuns" DON'T JIVE COMPLETELY It took major fitting on the trigger guard pin to fit into receiver. The pin was way too large in diameter and about 1/8" too long for the tangs, so it had to be filed while on the receiver. Guess I could have checked beforehand, but that's not my style.

ALSO! ! ! the bolt catch was too large for the inlet in receiver, not allowing free movement. I used 220 grit sandpaper followed by 000 Steel wool and well lubed. It was still catching along the sides, so I repeated until it just fit tightly. Then, as I was driving the roll pin in the receiver (after it had been polished and lubed) the pin bent, to the point that I wont use it. (replacement on Monday)

So anyways this will be my 4th lower, so I'm not making anxious mistakes, I'll let ya'll know how the rest goes.

Was it the Lower or the LPK? One or both must be out of spec.

Sure sounds like the problem is the SS LPK...
