It took major fitting
on the trigger guard pin to fit into receiver. The pin was way too large in diameter and about 1/8" too long for the tangs, so it had to be filed while on the receiver. Guess I could have checked beforehand, but that's not my style. ALSO! ! !
the bolt catch was too large for the inlet in receiver, not allowing free movement. I used 220 grit sandpaper followed by 000 Steel wool and well lubed. It was still
catching along the sides, so I repeated until it just fit tightly. Then,
as I was driving the roll pin in the receiver (after it had been polished and lubed) the pin bent, to the point that I wont use it. (replacement on Monday)
So anyways this will be my 4th lower, so I'm not making anxious mistakes, I'll let ya'll know how the rest goes.
