Anybody have any experience with a Rainier Arms RUC? RA is based in my hometown of Auburn, WA and I took a look at one the other day -- and it is SWEET! First class setup all the way. MILSPEC plus: CHF barrel by DD, forged lower by Mega, Geissele OEM trigger, Samson rail, Diamondhead BUIS, VLTOR stock, RA XTC comp, HP/MPI BCG. A little steep at $1500, but on par with BCM and DD quality -- with looks that kill. Should I start saving now? I want a lightweight middy for HD and the range that's reliable and fun -- but with an attitude. Thoughts?

I will confess, I know little of RA, didn't know they were there. (a couple of receiver makers over by Tacoma).

Even though I got in when they were going for $1299 with a Geissele SSA (the first 100) I think they are still a very good deal.

That looks like a really nice rifle at a great price! I've purchased parts from Rainier arms and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
