Yeah, a hard 4 days or so because I'm also expecting a S&W 5906 Tues or Wed. It's like the old song ... I Can't Go On Livin' Baby Without You __________________ US Army 1966-69, VFW Life Member, Retired Geek |

Just got an email from USPS that the lower will be delivered to my FFL tomorrow. Unfortunately he's closed Mondays but may be in the shop and give me a call to come down. Otherwise it'll probably be Tuesday. So maybe only 2 hard days!
This is a link showing what to expect out of the box and the features. It's the Chatterbox version but otherwise the same as others.

Well it didn't get here so obviously a few more hard days!
At least I finally got a real tracking email so can follow the package along its 1,000 mile journey. Since Jan 29th it's gotten 40 miles from Gilbert to Phoenix AZ.
*Depart USPS Sort Facility, 02/01/2012, PHOENIX, AZ 85043
*Processed at USPS Origin Sort Facility, 02/01/2012, 1:59 am, PHX, AZ 85043
*Dispatched to Sort Facility, 01/31/2012, 5:41 pm, GILBERT, AZ 85296
*Acceptance, 01/31/2012, 12:00 pm, GILBERT, AZ 85234
*Electronic Shipping Info Received, 01/29/2012
And an update on my S&W 5906, CDNN lost my FFL info then found it while I was on the phone asking last night. Said they'd get it shipped out today but I doubt I'll see it before Tuesday. SNAFUs with both FFL orders, arrrggguuuhhhh!

Oh happy day! The QD lower and S&W 5906 both came in late this afternoon at my FFL and I picked them up an hour ago! Guess I won't be back again tonight...
Will put up pictures soon... the QD military edition is fantastic. __________________ US Army 1966-69, VFW Life Member, Retired Geek |

Really nice Q. The set screw bolt release is cool. __________________ “The bitterness of poor quality Lingers long after The sweetness of low price is forgotten.”
