Do some research on Windham weaponry.. Colt has a good name and I have one but my Windham shoots just as good if not better. I've had my Windham for around 5 months and have never had anything go wrong.
Mossburg MMR Tactical AR15 is worth a look in my opinion, great reviews online. I looked everywhere at every AR model under $850, I almost went with Windham until I went to the range and just loved how my buddies new Mossburg was dead on accurate and that Quad Rail makes it a nice looking rifle too, (didn't like the gas block setup on the Windham and have read that they get very hot) I ordered mine without sights because I prefer magpul flip up sights with my Reddot scope. Got mine for under$800. Just a thought.

Yeah the mmr is a nice one I work part time at academy sports in the gun dept, only one day a week to keep my 20 percent discount but anyway I did some research on the mmr and it's supposedly a great rifle for the money, I wouldn't mind trying one out
Paid $699+tax for my del-ton echo 316/moe, added a eotech 512 and a magpul back up iron sight. Its a very accurate carbine and so far flawless in function. Hard to beat for the money IMHO.
