Default PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube

Any opinions or experience on the PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube? I am currently building an AR right now & thinking of going with this buffer tube.

I was considering it for a piston pistol build, but didn't go that route.

Imo unnecesary use of funds on a DI build.

PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube, Mil-Spec $99.95
The PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube is an impact extruded 6061 aluminum version of our original billet 7075 aluminum buffer tube. This version was designed as a more cost effective alternative to the original.

I agree with AT. You can get a true 7075 receiver extension from BCM and others much cheaper than that. I'd look for one.

The main benefit of using that system is to help prevent carrier tilt. Di sytems don't have that problem.

Consider getting a few different weight buffers and tuning your system manually.
