im looking at their 16 inch mid length, and see one is 299 and the other is 350.
can anyone tell me what the difference is??

The uppers advertised for $299 do not include bolt carrier groups or charging handles.

A good BCG is about $125 plus shipping and/or tax.

Charging handles cost between $20 and $50 depending on the brand, style of latch, etc.

Depends on which ones exactly you are looking at. But I'm going to guess that it has to do with barrel construction.

Are they both chrome lined? Often $50 is about the cost of adding CL.

I have the 16" Hammer Forged Midlength Light weight upper. I'm Very happy with it. Low recoil and to me it's not too light weight but manageable. I got mine without BCG and CH. you can read more here.

The $50 gives u the opportunity to have them swap hand guards, option for bcg for $100 . Muzzle breaks option, charging handle option and rear sight option and palmettos roll mark is laser engraved on the upper. The cheap $299 is you get what u see no laser engraving which is fine with me but it saves u some $$$ if u want different options and be able to make it complete since they are out of stock on BC G's by themselves

My plan is to build one just like yours, save for a PSA lower and a VFG, nice job.
