And you're right, when I first got it together it was right at 6.5lbs with MBUS, CTR, MOE handguards on a DD LW midlength upper with A2 FSB and A2 FH. At the time it was only 3/4lb more than a buddy's Carbon 15 which has composite lower and upper receivers so lighter than a Plum Crazy plus standard PSA upper. I suppose with sling and RDS mine is still under 7.

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

Hmm...PSA stripped lower, RRA lpk, middy PSA upper, moe fore end, miad grip, bad, magpul trigger guard, tapco butt, gunfighter charger. Now I gotta weigh my PSA...you guys have me thinking. Anyone want to guess?

I believe my big Colt weights in at 12.75lbs ...it's like an artillery piece. :-)
