ok just a little update

ive taken the rifle out a few times since things have settled back and its hanging just under .4 at 100 for 5 shot strings with sierra 69grain smk.

im not happy with the larue mount and the scope is currently off the gun and waiting for a adm QD mount. the larue sp mount wasnt holding zero the way i was wanting and kept loosening on me. the cheap screws one stripped out with the torque wrench set to 50 inch pounds on a 30 inch pound install.

not happy with larue atm and its the second larue mount ive had issue with. my acog mount from them was doing a similar thing.

anyway getting this little honey back into service since im able to once again find bullets. got an order for some more 69grainers in the pipe hopefully next month ill be shooting it some more.

I've had no problems with my ADM mount. I think you will be very happy.

This info helps me immensely. If I could only find a quality A3 upper. The Ultramatch A3 upper is harder to find than .22LR ammo.

just put in a back order for one. building quality can take some time. order straight from rainier arms. http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=1611

im a big fan of adm mounts two larue mounts neither of witch could return to zero worth a crap especially without damaging the rail. i dont know why folks fawn over those things.

I would if I could. It automatically goes to the A4 style when you put it in your cart. The only thing I can do is add the A3 style to my wish list. I guess I'll try to call Rainier Arms on Monday and see what my options are. I have no problem putting it on backorder if I can.

Any other uppers you considered for your build?

Rainier has good cs they will help ya out.

That's really the only one I would trust on such a build.

You could buy a complete varmint upper from rra. They qc those verrrrrry well and the barrels are top notch. That's the only other way I would go.
