DefaultPOF - AR's

Patriot Ordnance Firearms

I have a friend whose very close to purchasing one. Anyone have any experience positive or negative that would help in making a decision on the brand as a whole?

I was considering one but there just not in my price range right now but they are in his, so price is not a negative in this case.

DefaultPOF-p415

I've got a POF-p415 upper in 5.56., on a Stag lower. It's pretty cool. I've had it for a couple of years. I've put fewer than 1K rounds through it, and it's great. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. Here's a pic of it, next to my XD45.

Some things to consider, is the receiver milled, or is it cast? Will they build to spec, or do they offer pre-assembled Uppers / Lowers without any input on parts on your end?

As always, handle the product and make sure it looks good, clean, doesn't have a lot of jacked up tool marks, make sure a magazine goes in and out of the mag well easily.

Stuff like that....
