Both of the AR's at KYGUNCO and JOEBOB's are good deals and would satisfy anybody's AR needs, but the problem will be finding anybody who has them in-stock and ready for shipment. All you can do is call them and see if they'll give you an honest estimate of when they get some in-stock. I know Joe Bob's is honest as the day is long and will tell you the truth. Joe Bob's is also a RRA Dealer, so be sure to ask them about their RRA inventory available. The pre-election panic is making AR's and AR parts almost impossible to find.

i know you say you are choosing between rra and psa, i would suggest also at least comparing stags prices. i paid $836 from my LGS for a stag model 4. its almost exactly like the m16a2. thats why i wanted it. also just got a carbine style model 2 from them. both run great and came with irons. goood quality rifles, i would say they are probly right in between rra and psa. and the customer service is good. anyway. with some shopping you should be able to get what you want for a good price and be satisfied with a rifle from any of those companys

It may be, because it's looking like I might be making more money then I thought  if that's the case, then yeah, I'll be getting one a bit earlier. Tomorrow is my third week on the job, and I'm already making more than I ever have in one month. I'm just getting started.

Not just on the AR purchase front, as I look at that as a bonus, but good to know you're doing well on the job! I hope things only get better.

You have plenty of time to do a little more reading and research. Do a little planning ahead, think about your needs, take your time. I doubt anything really new and exciting will come to market between now and September. When you find a specific model (not just a Company) post it up and everyone here will give you their two cents.
