Default Parts list Suggestions?

Sorry if this has been posted before...

Im looking at building an AR, and I've put together a parts list after looking at stickies on what everyone else has done. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if what I have is a good list of parts, or if I need to look into different Manufacturers. If you know of one that would be of better price (I'm on a budget like everyone else) and same quality that would be great. I'm also wanting to know if I'm missing anything?

Thanks in advance.

AR 15 Parts List.

Ur list is a little short , barrel nut assembly, barrel extention, charging handle, gas tube\
rough figuring but I think you got about $640 in just your parts and prob another $60 in my added parts , plus your going to need the tools to build it with and your talking prob another $125-$150 for those if you dont have them .

I highly suggest you buy a completely built upper if you have not built one . the way I figured it up I would have to build about 5 uppers to justify the difference in built ones to pay for the tools alone .
I would be watching Palmetto State Armory , they had a 16" mid length upper one day special yesterday for $269 , and with a $17 charging handle and a $125 BCG you got $425 shipped to your door . There are a few places that carry the DPMS 5.56 upper complete for $409 shipped to my door . I know this I bought one yesterday.

i thought i might have been missing a few things. I was just going off of the list he had posted. I've looked at a complete upper, and thought thats what i was buying... So following your suggestion... I found 2...

Del-ton which would be about 480 with upgraded handguards, or

PSA

It's hard to go back to an older build thread and use those choices for today. PSA wasn't talked about as much then for example. I'd say look at Agent Tikki's recent AR-15 Primer then start thinking about your uses and a reasonable budget. I agree with Purehavoc that PSA is a great choice, and that it makes sense to buy a complete factory upper instead of putting one together. And I'd definitely go with PSA over Del-Ton.

You should buy now before upper go up on price. For $279 plus 15 for shipping $294 you will not find a better upper Mil-Spec. They still have the Labor Day Deal today.
http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/labor-day-upper-madness.html
You will be saving $100 or more. I would get there Mid-Length Light Profile Premium Madness
http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/labor-day-upper-madness/mid-light-profile-premium-madness-16-cmv-chrome-lined-stripped-upper-without-bcg-or-charging-handle.html
It is at a great price that's why I got one. Now I will have two of there complete uppers
