Parts kit
Could anyone suggest a company that carries a complete parts kit less the stripped lower reciever with a A-1 upper reciever and the 16 in barrel with the fixed 5.5 inch flash suppressor. I have checked the net but can only find that barrel with the A-3 flat top reciever.

I was looking at a complete parts set this morning on Cheaper than dirt, I don't think it is exactly what you are looking for but here is the link:

I thought is was terribly high priced, seeing that I can buy a complete Bushmaster at my local shop for $999.

Seriously brother - have you even looked around??
Parts kits are in short supply on hand, but everyone sells a parts kit, or a full upper, in the configuration you are talking about.
Rock River Arms
Olympic Arms
Bushmaster
Colt
Want high end for the sake of paying a ton of money for name?
Sabre Defence
D&L Sports
Baer Arms
Brownell's has parts kits for the lower and BCG for the Upper. I believe they even sell completed uppers....
Take a stroll through the AR-15 section of this forum - there are a TON of threads about what people bought, where they got it, why they went that route. There is probably more information already in those threads than you can digest in a week of reading....

Thanks for the info guys and Jd I have checked those places and all i can find are the a-2 or a-3 flat top not the a-1 but thanks again for the info.

Look up M&A parts. They do not do back orders so if you call and ask what they have instock, you can order right then and there and have your kit inside of a week.
