Default Painting my AR
how should i go about painting my ar15? I want to paint it a good multicam. should i use krylon? i know it will eventually chip off but i shot a buddies AR15/M16 he used in Afghanistan that was still in pretty good shape

I think I remember yours is a Carbon 15? If so I don't know what to choose for the composite receivers. Maybe others will have ideas.

yeah its the carbon. My buddy travis has the carbon too lol. ill have to ask him if he used just krylon

well it had the carbon lower, he replaced the upper. He was a tech engineer or something so he never engaged any ragheads lol

im not sure if it was his carry gun. he had two or three guns while he was there. i might be mistaken. it could have been his A.R.M.S. upper with Spikes lower he used

Ive used krylon on a lot of firearms, both metal and composits. All with great sucsess. To help keep chiping and flaking use a mate clear coat.

what should i use to degrease it? should i just plug the end of the barrel?
