Looking to shoot my AR outside this winter so am looking for some gloves that will keep me warm but will allow proper function with my hands to manipulate my rifle and fit inside a standard trigger guard any opinions or info would be much appreciated as always.

If it's not real cold Wells Lamont makes nylon fingerless work gloves. They are good to the high 20's. Once you are out in colder weather mittens that you can take off real quick are best. Shooters mittens have a chain/string that clips on your coat sleeve.

There are shooters mittens that have a flap that folds back, exposing the fingers when its time to shoot. Also seen folks modify gloves by cutting a hole in the index finger of the glove so the tip of their finger can poke through when they want to shoot, or pull the finger back in to keep it warm.

New Hampshire winters are quite different from mine. I wonder what Art and Anna use in Alaska.
