Anyone know anything about sun optics? I've never heard of them before..this looks like a good optic for me, just don't know if I can co-witness with my MBUS which is a must for me

Mine looks similar to an eotech style. It allows absolute cowitness. I saw another guy that said he was running one on a shotgun with no problems. I'm sure we will catch some crap on here because they aren't eotechs, but you have to get what works for you not them.

It still just boggles my mind that someone would spend $1200-$1500 on a rifle and then be unwilling to spend $750- $1000 on an optic for it,

Because my rifles shoot just fine without a $750-$1000 optic on top of it.

I have a $1400 Daniel Defense, with a $0 optic on it. Not sure what's wrong with that. I like it.
