any opinions on one of these I found a new one for under 800 bucks out the door?

Maybe for $500. Oly is bottom barrel.

Look at DPMS panther or oracle... Stay away from Olympic.

I'd say the same about DPMS.

For $800 PSA and Spikes offer a better option.

I shot only one. I sighted it in at 30 yards and had the windage adjustment maxed out. I wasn't impressed.

Depends on when it was made. From my understanding, the QC at OLY took a dive from about 98-2008, then they started tightening up. I would save a couple hundred more and go for a tier 1 gun.

For lowers you can shop for price or kick in a little more for a rollmark you like. I'd skip the polymer lowers though.
