No Sh!t, it's an actual stamp!? I always wondered. What's it for? Also, top photo, middle lower, I like the color.

Yup its a actual stamp . This one is set up for a 11.5" upper that I already had but since I have 2 of the same barreled uppers , I'm going to off one . Its going to wear a 9" 7.62x39 replacement

How long did it take you for the stamp? I've got a couple lowers I want to register. Last time I did one it only took 29 days. I doubt that's the case now.

Wait, what? Are we talking NFA here? You can't be in possession of it and NOT have the stamp, no? What kind of lowers? If not an NFA item, this stamp doesn't apply. Maybe I'm slightly confused…..

Were already NFA owners so it doesn't matter how many shorty uppers we have so long as we don't put them on a non NFA lower with a stock . For a first timer applying, possession is a no no.
Just because its stamped as a 11.5" doesn't mean it has to stay that way . You can run a 5" or a 20" does not matter. Once a NFA always a NFA unless you call and have them release it

You can have in your possession a short barreled upper as long as you put it on a ar pistol lower and not an ar rifle lower.

You have to get a stamp if you are going to go short barrel rifle. But you can go ar pistol without the stamp but you better not put a pistol length upper on a rifle lower without the stamp.

Oh, I see, you're going to register the lowers to make them SBRs.
