Well since Obama is still.standing. I decided on just buying an AR as soon as I can. What brand and what specs should I.buy. I will be using it for outdoor range probably 100-200 yards. And also if SHTF. I only.have about 800-850 Max to spend. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Or just look for one for me. I want one as soon as possible and don't have time for learning all the ins and outs. Thanks alot.

Forgot to mention. I live in Illinois so I might not have that much time to buy. Lol.

Buy an ak for that price range. 500 for the weapon and the rest on Ammo and mags.

And if you need to learn how to handle the weapon I'll send you a 12 second video on how to break it down and work with it and you will be we'll in your way...

Here's my two ak's

Can I use .223 in that? It doesn't say. And would the 1:7 twist be good for that kind of ammo.

go to psa's website and search for one you like. most of them are under 800. plus shipping and fees. or go to a lgs and look for smith n wesson mp15's theses are generally near the 600-700 mark. that way u can buy mags, and ammo.
