I plan to take as many pics as I can. I just gotta get my room clean
i decided only to compromise on the barrel, at the time, and I ended up falling in love with my "imagined" build. I was going to go with the BCM barrel but I couldn't justify it yet

I'm so 'cited....

*s**t eating grin* the parts from Midway arrived today pic's'll be up as soon as BCM's shipment comes in tomorrow.

tempted to do a stop motion film(such as the do in the Amazon Kindle commercials... it'd take 2 days to do it tho... we'll see. def gonna take pics throughout assembly

oh and I've got a c products curved 20 and magpul FG 20 round rebuild kits inbound from 44mag. we'll see which I like more. then i'll buy 10 more (please note that as I live in kommiefornia and Komrada Feinstien made law that I got'sa have 10 round mags, I gotta modify the mags to be "permanently" 10 rounds only. )

btw 44mag.com has free shipping on all Cproducts, MagPul and D&H products!

Sounds epic, pag! I have the YHM lightweight freefloat on my build, too. Anxiously awaiting gun porn.

Awesome
I have a rifle length Oly arms rail... and compared to the YHM it's just far to heavy.
gun pron'll be up as soon as I get the sucker together, which means about an hour after the shipment from BCM arrives...
That flip up front sight from magpul made me a believer. Def gonna pickup their RVG and MOE pistolgrip on thursday, along with some ammo from Ammo bro's.

Congrats. It sounds like you'll have a great rifle in no time.

FWIW, I found the YHM free float a little tricky. Take your sweet *** time with the barrel nut, as the anti-rotation screws will determine the orientation of the rails, not the jam nut. If you don't get the barrel nut perfect, you won't be able to line up the free float rails with those on your upper, and re-doing it is a PITA. Or so I'm told. I did it perfect the first time, of course .

Building a lower is extremely easy, in retrospect. I can imagine the gas system is a little tricky for building an upper from parts. How did it go? Is it worth the time? What I mean is the money savings for the parts you wanted worth the effort in time that it takes to build?

I can't wait to see your pics!
