Such a shame, another fine rifle suffers a premature demise...seems this forum is cursed. At least Gary won't be getting his hands on this one.

Sorry about your recent pick-up and following loss. I hope you at least got to fondle it a bit before the accident.

Del-ton makes some very nice pieces, I think they are one of the better kit/full manufacturers out there. Last year I was on the phone with them, a couple days late. The only thing that stopped me from putting in the order was the 4-6 week wait time, that had already started after the election. Otherwise, I would have had one of their mid-length kits, and a heavy barrel.

Their complete pieces are well put together, too. Quality wise, they don't take a back seat to anyone else out there. So you did good, for however long it lasted
