Should count the total price including the bcg, flash hider & ch eventhough you already owned them.

I can't remember how much Bcg was really why I don't count it lol I'm sure expensive
Lets see if it actually works and cycles properly

Out of curiosity , why go with the long barrel? Did it have a carbine gas system? I built mine with a 7.5", pistol gas, and it was a battle trying to balance out to cycle just right.

Yes it's carbine gas
I've heard getting the buffer weight and spring perfect can be a hassle did you get replacement springs online or locally ?

I really like the 10.5 look kinda looks sbr ish obviously no stock

I shoot with my hand far in front in the rail, I wouldn't be able to do that with a 7 in

And I also got the barrel on sale ... I can't talk good or bad about it since I haven't shot it yet but 100$ HBar isn't too bad ... No chrome lining but I'm not looking to go to battle with this gun

It's a good looking pistol. I think the carbine has system saved you a lot of headaches. I Had to play with the buffer weight 3 times,2 different springs. I had a Phase 5 pistol tube assembly kit. It only had a 3 ounce buffer. I ended up with a 5.5 ounce counterweight buffer and a non locking spring. Im running a Fail Zero F/A BCG, PWS CQB compensator, on a 7.5 stainless Hbar, pistol gas barrel. Now it's cycling fine.

Oh and incase other people ask about the "stock", it's a check rest just slid over the tube and it is legal. I have an ATF letter stating that is is not a stock. It's a Command Arms SST1

I went with roughly the same setup except SBR 7" SS barrel , troy claymore brake , PSA lower, aero upper, troy gas block , troy hand guard,
I to hold out front and I literally hold this one on the end of the carbine rail right behind the brake . People say well you cant hit sh!t with something that short , :D I can hit 10" steel out to 200 with a red dot no problem . Yes it loses some velocity roughly 400 fps over a 16" barrel depending on the ammo . It sure is alot of fun , this was my first SBR and I will say it is a sick addicting disease .

What weight buffer did you end up with.
