They are nice looking and Im glad to see they are steel but I just cant see paying $190 for a set when the plastic ones work perfectly

True...but as far as steel backup sights go I think the price is about average if not a little cheaper.
However if they could have come in a little cheaper (say 149.95) I think they could have cornered the market on all forms of backup sights

The metal ones are good for people that have a gas block mounted sight. The block gets a little hot for plastic
