Default New Bull Barrel upper

Just traded my 16" upper and some cash for this 20" bull barrel custom built by a guy in my town. It's a 1:8 twist, what would y'all recommend for ammo? It's my coyote gun and I'll be around 400 yards max as a distance

Do you hand load? For factory ammo I picked a couple box's of wolf gold 75gr hpbt in my 1-8 barrel and found they grouped right at 3/4" at 100 yards for most groups with a couple groups up to 1". But mine also shoots wolf polyformance 55gr sp at 1-1/4" . You may just have to try a few to see what works best for yours. Rifle is a M&P sport ,16" barrel 1-8 twist . Just got to try a few.

What make or brand barrel do you have

Yeah mine came off a sport actually and yes I do hand load. My dad and I actually just set it up so I'm new to it though. And as in barrel brand, I am honestly not sure

From the pics, it looks kind of like a Rock River Arms......

I know the guard is dpms but I'm not sure about the barrel. A guy in the town next to mine custom makes them but I'm not sure on his barrel use
