Well yesterday I ended up getting my barrel, and BCG. I assembled the rest of it today and am itching to get out and see it to bang. I'm still trying to decide what muzzle device I want, and then what rail I will end up with. At least for now it is usable. Here's a crappy pic for now.
Well I took it out for the first time yesterday. Ran around 200 rounds through it at 25 yards. Not ONE issue so far. I'm pretty pleased. Probably need to get some kind of deflector because it ejects casings pretty damn far. I will be even more pleased when I get the right handguard and muzzle device. Owing to end up with a 10" carbon fiber handguard and KX3. Tack driver for sure, I was putting 32 rounds in a 2.5" diameter hole blown through the target. Will post more pics when I get it completed
How about a fake silencer cut off to what ever length you decide is just right. There aluminum and all though thick there very lite weight. Keeps the blast and flash heading down range .
Mine has an odd 1/2"36 tread but it works great and even looks good after getting in cut dressed and stained . I can't find the cheap 18 dollar one I bought but it was like this- and worked fine and can be had in all tread size and pitchs- http://www.tacticalaccessories.com/products/viewproduct.php?id_product=691
