Ok cool I'll check out the PWS. Thanks for the recommendation. I've always wanted a Timney trigger but would the cost be justified in a SBR that's primarily going to be used for CQB as opposed to a precision build?

7" SBR
I find that because I hold out a little farther than most that I hold the gun right on the end of the hand guard .

I have the 4lb Timney in a 16" SHTF battle rifle and the 3lb in a more precision-ish build. The 4lb is nice, not too light, relatively short reset.

Awesome lower man!!!

That's what I used for my first SBR also. Shot it last weekend. The rail is temporary as I have an NSR on the way.

It's a 10.5" Rainier Arms Ultramatch barrel with a Syrac Ordanance Adjustable Gas Block (left it full open), BCM F/A BCG and Spikes ST-T2 Buffer and spring.

Put 130 rounds through it with no issues at all. Rem .223 55gr and Lake City XM855.

By far my favorite rifle so far and feels more accurate than my 16: BCM BFH.

Good luck with yours...you still going 10.5"?

I still plan on getting a SBR. While I'm waiting on the paperwork, I'm gonna build this lower into a Noveske rifle. Once my stamp comes back, I'll work on the SBR lol. I like this lower to much for it to sit around for months on end and not get built.

Very nice rifle. Did you do the color fill yourself? I like it!

Take a look at the Levang Linear Compensator, works great to reduce recoil plus puts most of the noise and flash straight forward. Much quieter to the operator and people beside you. About half the noise (subjective) of my miculick comp. Same recoil reduction.

Mine is on a 16" carbine but its supposed to be even better on shorter barrels. Very cool SBR I have one on the build list, but I have 7 ar15 rifles already.

Thanks! I used Rust-Oleum Professional High Performance Enamel Spray in Flat White- because I wanted it to dry quickly so I could use it the next day. Just masked off around the area and sprayed one wet coat to make sure it was filled, then wiped most off, removed the tape, and wiped the rest clean. It worked well.

I've read allot of people use Tetors model paint and will try that next time to "fill" it more.
