Just another update. My DTI survived another 300 rounds today (1000 total). Rapid fire drills. The addition of the vertical grip, improved my target acquisition and re-acquire. I did not try the bipod. Today was move and shoot, move faster and shoot. Two on target, acquire next target and two on target. Mostly drills I used to do for IDPA handgun. Drill, drill, drill.

My Delton, continues to function flawlessly. I admit that I run a bore snake through after each trip to the range. And I don't mix the ammo, much. 100 round of Wolf and 900 rounds of PMC Bronze.

My shooting will probably be less frequent after a few weeks. Locally there a couple tactical carbine matches a year. Right now I have the fever, so I will shoot, shoot, shoot.

I will let you know if I manage to break it.

When I bought my rifle, I went with a PSA Rifle kit. It came with everything minus a stripped lower, including magpul MBUS front and rear as well as the MOE stock/grip AND a MI 15" quad rail for around $750. Add in the stripped lower and you have a quality rifle for $830 with the FF quad rail and magpul furniture included! They are a bit slow on the shipping side, took mine two weeks to be built and ship.

Be sure to check them out, the kit I mentioned is higher quality than DPMS and the S&W sport (or even their other M&P15 rifles for that matter) and comes in at one hell of a price point.

Ha ha! Two weeks? That's practically airmail in my experience. I waited 3 mos for a POF, only to buy my LWRC off the rack instead...because the Pat hadn't shipped YET!!

Sounds like you have a real nice setup tho...and a real nice price on 'er too.
