canebrake on the scope bit. It definitely looks the part for that bad boy.
This is the second thread I've read through where
Dillinger and
slowryde45 have coached (coaxed?
) a would-be AR builder into actually doing it, and with great results. A big thumbs up to you guys, as well.
I have my eyes open for my first rifle, and the AR is definitely high on the list of possibles. Perhaps, I'll even build my own. It seems the logical way to go with a little experience with the rifle already, the level of customization, and the end-product satisfaction among owners. Oh, and the price looks to be just right. Maybe I'll even be lucky enough to have these two guys there to answer any questions I may have.
But, I say again, very nice rifle
